Sand kicked up from the flints of a smoke-washed stallion. His ebon veil waved gently and his whipchords were kicked behind his sweaty physique. He was cursed the name Fajer, a name so unique others hardly know how to pronounce it.
The beautiful stallion skidded to a stop, dancing on his graceful hooves. He looked out to the horizon, the rising sun about to bring heat upon the sand dunes of Death Plains. His delicate auds searched for out of the ordinary sounds that disturb the peace.
Fajer looked around for a brush to nibble on and walked to a small bush by a palm tree. He lowered his delicate crania to the tasty treat and wrapped his kissers around a thin branch. His pulled with his jaws and chewed slowly, savoring the sweet taste that is rare around these plains. He lifted his skull to the bright blue welkin and boomed a whinny across the lands. He was the lead here, and he loved to be in control of his band.

Emera glided across the sand as she raced towards the whinny of what she knew only to be a wonderous creature she slid to a stop as she seen the stallion nibbling calmly on the branches of a small bush.
She nickered to him softly and stayed where she was allowing him to aproach her. She raised her head slightly and arched her neck showing off her glistening muscles. Her eyes and ears where completely tuned in to this magnificent creature. She waited silently for what he would do next.
The scent of another horse made Fajer's nares flutter. He turned sharply on his hind hooves staring into the mares brown, hypnotic eyes. She was a dark angel, pure lust. Fajer moved forward to where his nose was inches away from hers. He looked at her, she was black like himself and just as muscled.
Fajer half-reared, flexing every muscle in his body. He walked in a tight circle around the mare. His eyes locked on to hers. He returned to her front, dazed by her good looks.
I'm Fajer, you? He nickered, snapping back into reality.

Emera watched this magnificent stallion as he circled her. Entranced by his dark eyes. Her eyes never left him as he circled her. She felt the urge to breed and knew her season was coming.
She lifted her tail slightly and extended her crania toward the stallion slightly. She answered, " I am Emera daughter of the night "
She watched his eyes to see if he recognized her name. Others did and she has been shunned from other herds for it. They say she is the daughter of an evil no one could describe. She did not want Fajer to know this but she decided to be truthful. She waited anxiously for his reply.
Emera, I have heard of you. He nickered in an intrigued way.
Fajer repeated the stories of a mare who was daughter of an evil one. He longed to mate with Emera every since the first story of her. Fajer took a few steps closer, trying to detect the tiniest scent of a mare in season.

" Yes I am the one you speak of my father's name was Shetan " He was known as " The Black Devil " she replied.
She didn't know what to think about his question. Not sure if it was in invitation or a hope of her to leave. She then noticed the lust in his eyes and arched her neck knowing what his intentions where and replied seductively, " would you like me to stay?"
She flicked her tail and danced sideways throwing her scent toward him. Her accents upon her face shining. Her eyes sparked with life as she watched him curiously

Ah, more love birds... so late in the season?
The air here was as dry as hay, it filled her with a life she had never known before. So beautiful, the great orange of space. Had it not been for the two black dots on the dune just infront of her, she could have conviced herself that she was in a place far away from life, from horses. It was positively lovely. The wind blew strong, blowing her plumy tail between her supple thighs, no doubt they'd catch her scent in a moment, better get a move on then. She cast one last glance behind her, one could see a thin line of green, and in the distance loomed the tiny shape of the mountain she'd come from. She'd made good time, but in this heat she'd need to go much slower.
She started down the dune, passing silently into its shadow. Ahead of her, another mountain called.

Suddenly she stopped her flirtations and looked behind her. She flared her nostrils and let out an echoeing nicker across what seemed to be a deserted land.
Her black body stood motionless as she continued to suck in the familiar scent of another horse. She recognized the scent of another mare not to far away. She turned back and looked at Fajer to see what his reaction was.
I'd love to have company. He nickered softly, while staring into her eyes.
After a while, a scent of another mare clogged his nares. He looked around for the being that was disturbing his talk with Emera. He saw in the distances a skewbald mare on a sand dune. He whinnied for her to come identify herself. He stood protectively in front of Emera, even though it was a mare.

Emera looked longingly into Fajer's eyes. She watched as he neighed to the stranger and stepped in front of her protectively. She enjoyed the attention he gave her and quickly burred, " I would love your company."
" and possibly more... " she thought to herself
Her deep eyes shined as she looked for the other mare to arrive or return their calls. She felt herself growing attached to this wild stallion who seemed to want to protect her from dangers known and unknown. She wasn't sure she wanted the other mare to intrude either. She was beginning to feel as if Fajer was her stallion and hers alone. She looked over his well sculpted head and body. She leaned closer to him resting her delicate muzzle on his back while she waited for the new comer.
