No, she was the one who was coming with Ebony but changed her mind. We met when Ace and Fajer fought. Thank ful that Lessa was helping she looked up at Emera, what would the lead mare think of all this and how would she cope with seeing Fajer so badly hurt and one of her mares ailing. The fright that had once resided in her stare was replaced with anger nothing would of happened if Flame had stuck with whatever it was he was doing before deciding to stalk Emera. Huda stopped thinking of Flame for a minute while helping to encourage Ella up Come on Ella, you can lean on me if you cant stand by yourself. positioning her bodice next to Ella for support she waited for the mare to try to get up.

She felt the cool water drip on her head, It cooled her down just unufe for her to think strait. She perched her head up and opened her eyes, i was lessa and Huda, she thought . What happened? she asked as she was trying to get up. Before anyone answered she managed to get her front legs stabled in the sand...

Quickly she moved to her other side, so Ella was supported between her and Huda's bodies.
((Sorreh.... Flame and Fajer need to get their arses back here))

Helping Ella to her feet she replied You passed out, your fine now. She hoped she was right about the last part if Fajer did manage to win the battle he would be badly injured, Emera would have her foal, and Ella would be sick. Shaking her dial Huda made sure Ella was able to support her golden mass.
((Yes they do need to!))

(( I have returned lol and Falme went on a 2 week vacation... she won't be back until AUGUST 1st! *dies*))
Emera's black bodice glistened with sweat. She was scared out of her mind. Her over swollen belly was now bulging with the life it held and would soon be brought back to the earth. She watched in dismay as the blood dripped down Fajer's body it was then and there she knew he would lose. He was not fully healed from his last battle making his odds much less than Flame's. She backed away not even noticing Lessa or what had happened to the golden fae.
Her eyes were white with fear for not only Fajer's life but his spawn that grew inside of her. She bumped into Huda lightly with her rear nearly jumping three feet away. She was starting to sweat profusely now. She turned surprised to see Lessa the twotoned contessa that had interupted her and Fajer. She looked at Huda then Lessa and finally Ella mashed between them. The look of fear and the sweat that covered her swollen frame told them all they needed to know. Fajer was not going to win this battle.

The fear in Emera got the point across, as did the stress induced near coma that Ella had almost fallen into... They had to get away from here....
Slowly she bent her neck, arching it towards Emera with an expression of grim seriousness in her eyes. She gently brushed her nose against the muzzle of the trembleing ebony mare, though she knew she could offer no comfort.
"Listen to me" She said slowly, low enough so the battling stallions could not hear. "I know, I know you love him, but we have to get out of here". She swallowed, her throat was growing dry from the mix of anxiouness and the unforgiving harshness of the air. "I know its hard, I know the feeling of leaving your loved ones behind, but you need to think of your child, what would that stallion do to it? We need to go away, far away. And we need to be able to trust that Fajer will know where to find us. He will find us... " The air seemed to be growing thicker now... cloying...
"Emera, we have to go now, this battle won't last much longer and we need to put some distance between us and him." She looked and Huda and Ella, frowning at the golden mare's frail condition, before looking back at Emera "Its our only choice."

Lessa 's words echoed throughout her mind. How could she know how it felt? She had her herd way before Flame had came along. How could she know how it feels to finally be happy and truly love somone only to see him ripped to pieces by the nightmares of her past. Her breathing was beggining to become laboured as the full inclanation of what was going on sunk into her mind. Suddenly she snapped back to reality remembering her position as Lead Mare was coming to use now. She understood Lessa was trying to help but she still had a bitterness toward her from their last herd together and the surprise meeting here in the desert.
She then turned to Ella forgeting how much she disliked her and nuzzled her to keep her awake and then looking into Huda's eyes, " She's right. we need to get as far away as possible even if it means " she paused and looked at Fajer as he let out a blood curdeling scream ," ....even if it means leaving Fajer. She did not want Ella's sudden illness to get any worse. She knew Fajer would lose and had known it the moment Flame had arrived. She then look back at Lessa and said, " I can't travel far. We can go to Fire Lare its the safest place we can get and not that far. She took one last look at Fajer knowing they were doomed but not showing it and started off in medium paced trot as fast as the added weight of the foal would allow. She nickered to the others to follow and despite the situation she was happy how she took the control of the herd back. It was her job not some mare who thinks she knows everything.

Shrugging off Emera's coldness with her usual calm, she nuzzled Huda in relief and started after Emera. Ruefully she cast one last glance at Flame. If it came down to it and they had to be defended... she knew she was the only one really in the condition to do it. She'd never particularly relished fighting, but it had come to that too many times these five (or was it six?) years that she'd been out on her own. She knew what to aim for... Part of her wanted to lag behind and watch Ella to make sure that she would not fall again, but her heart told her that Emera needed her so desperately more. Quickening her pace she easily caught up to and strode beside the hampered mare, glancing back again as the stallions got smaller and smaller. Turning her attention back to Emera, she could see the growing dread so cleverly masked, only one who 'd been through a similar ordeal would recognize it.
"We need to get to a river" she said, touching Emera's shoulder in concern. " its a long way, but we have to try, if we walk in the river, there will be no trail to follow." She broke her gaze, looking ahead, flexing her arched neck and taking in great gulps of air through her expanded nares. It smelled clean and free...
and she suddenly wasn't so worried anymore.
Leaving Emera to decide for herself what was best, she slowed her pace and dropped back alongside Ella, wondering how she was doing.

Emera listened to Lessa's wise words knowing she was right but she wasn't sure she could travel that far. The added weight of the foal was already tiring her sore muscles but she ignored it. She had to stay strong for the others and while the others where lagging behind she finally let down her guard showing the knowing defeat that was coming to Fajer in her eyes. She stopped as she saw the treeline come into view and then glanced to the left toward Fire Lare. Fajer's words echoed in her mind, " We must protect our foal at all costs " she sighed knowing his words where true even if it meant the cost was her pride. She was wise enough to know that now was no time for her pride to get in the way. She started off no longer trotting but walking fast toward the green line of trees. Her destination was the river. She could not let the others know until it was absolutely evident that all hope was gone.

((which river do you want to head for? The Never ending river or the stream?))
She saw the treeline, small with the distance but growing larger. The sounds and smells of the battleing dynamos now faint. She saw that Emera was tiring, this far into pregnancy was not a good time to start walking cross country... but they had to chance it, they had to.

OOC: *runs back onto scene badly sun burnt and with Hawaii shirt* lol *surveys flame who is convulsing on the floor and shakes head wondering how to get him through this one*
What did he feel? Pain? Anger? Regret? None of these... He felt nothing. Flame had been bad before but then he had had emotions. Love, passion the slightest hint of mercy. It was a sad sight to see. A great steed stricken, not in battle or by human hand, but by the own poison of his mind. Yes, he was poisoned. His brain was twisted into an agony of secret self hate and a never-ending lust for revenge. This was no horse, he was no better than a blood thirsty wolf. Insanity had swallowed him whole and now he hung onto the pitiful strands of reality that he had left. Treasuring them and refusing to slip into his own fantasy. Yet like a junkie getting his fix, he couldn't help but slide into the darkened depths of his mind and for once feel no pain. Was it his fault? Some could argue that it wasn't, but who could feel sorry for the blackened beast. He didn't have a black heart, his was stone. Like the thick wall that rose up around him; defending himself from anyone who got too close.
He soon came aware he was on the ground, temporarily unconscious. His now heavy skull semi-buried in the sand, it's yellow warmth reviving him. He guttered a breath, an unnerving gurgle spurting from the chasm in his throat. The dark liquid had sprayed into his parched mug aswell. The metallic taste oddly familiar to him. He blanked out all the equines not quite sure whether they were still there. Had he lost? Had they beaten him down and left him for dead? Would he end up no better than a hasty meal for the lupines and be ripped apart whilst he fought for his last breath? No Fajer was much more cruel than that. He wouldn't have left him till he knew Flame was as dead as a dead thing. (sorry couldn't think of a comparison lol)
Though the testosterone in him had a surprise affect. Surging adrenaline through his veins, refreshing his muscles, urging him to his feet. Staggering like a cross between a drunk and a newly born foal, he got to his feet. Swaying slightly but ready for more. His occuli glared at Fajer, sizing him up and down. With a painful stretch he proudly threw his skull to the heavens and laughed aloud manically. (not very horselike sorry)
"You really believed it didn't you?...."
He whickered an eerie, raspy, gurgling sound to his voice.
" You fought I'd let you live! You fought you'd kill me?! You did didn't you? ME Flame!"
HE carried on now mocking him with sarcastic laughter. Instead of insulting his foe anymore he pirouetted and bull-charged the black steed. Ramming his great bod at a gallop into Fajer's side. The blood from his wound smeared across the other's black pelt as he viciously collided with the horse. The blow, though not as powerful as it could have been, sent Fajer stumbling backwards. The wound from his back causing him stabbing pains and forcing him to fall to his knees. Flame was silent. Standing a few paces away from Fajer like a wolf surveying a kill. Daring him to get up, to carry on the fun, to satisfy his insatiable lust for blood.

The weight of the sahib struck Fajer with force strong enough to knock him down, but not powerful enough to injure him. His father cheered him on in his mind, adrenaline pumping through the veins of the blackened colt. He stared at Flame, still on the ground on his haunches.
His muscles were stunned, frozen and burning with pain. He knew if he quit now, Emera would be in trouble as was his little Amirah. As his tiny little girl came into his mind, everything zoned out and his muscles began to pump him to a stand. He had another fragile life to protect, and he would die saving her. He looked at the mares for a short time, he could sense their fright as Flame as done well.
You will not touch Emera, or the rest! He bellowed loudly. His dry, scratchy larnyx burned and vibrated with the scream. His skull had a beating sensation in his temples, but not enough to make him quit. The desert sun has risen to the hottest point of the day, making the charcoal czar sweat and pant.
Fajer knew he had to make a move, or Flame would think he quit. He began a slight canter around the blood kissed stallion, snorting and bellowing, flexing his bulging muscles and holding his proud hock kisser high. He stopped on the side of Flame, his eyes wide with lust to kill, and his labia curled into a sor frown, showing off the blood washed nippers. His delicate twin satellites pinned back on his skull, blending in with the dancing smoke washed mane.
The speed of the attack was surprising, but skillful. He wrapped his nippers around the cut on Flame's throat the Fajer had marked earlier. This time he ripped to the side, pulling skin and hair from the side of the neck and cheek. You could literally hear the shred of skin cells ripping from each other, and the blood gushing out. He popped a few vessels as he finished the slice, blood pouring from the devil's crest. Fajer spat the chestnut coat and skin from his mug, and pawed the terra with his daggers. He backed up as the stallion fell on the ground with groans.
Leave now, or die! He let out a squeal from his hoarse kissers. He moved his tongue around his mouth, feeling something bothersome in his teeth; he soon pulled a piece of chestnut skin from behind his teeth an spat it out on the sand. He knew the stallion would have a well planned attack coming, but he didn't say anything or worry.
He mirrored his father's personality as he chuckled with insanity. The scent of Flame's blood urged him on to want to attack again, but he didn't. . He knew the worse was coming to him.
((I didn't fix the attack, I didn't realize the mares had left))
