Agian the grulla mare smiled to Ace before nickering Thank you. Shifting her wieght she listened to what Lessa wqas saying, glad that the kind horse was going to help. Thin pillars gided HUda to were the other mare was grazing. Lowering her heard to grass she murmered another thank you, this time to Lessa.

She flicked an ear in her direction, not saying anything because her mouth was full. She appreciated Huda's thanks. Silently and serenly she moved along the bank. It had been awhile since she'd been in a place this peaceful, how she'd missed it on her way down to the valley was a mystery to her. After a moment she brought her head up. Ears erect, she scanned the world around her for sounds begetting the foul intentions of a predator. Being one who had been on her own for years, she was quite experianced. Calmly she listened, smelled, looked and felt the world around her.
Not a leaf stirred.
She lowered her head back down and continued grazing along side Huda.

The horses quietly eating th esweet grass on the bank of the river was a parfect scene of peace and tranquility. To herself Huda pondered So Lessa isn't staying . . . Though they had just met she was fond of the older mare and knew she would miss the mares presance once she left. Every muscle tensoned in her body as Lessa shot up her painted crania, but Huda relaxed when the mare continued grazing. Huda knew Lessa would be the perfect lead mare for the herd rather then her, but as far as she knew the mare was part of another herd and was simply looking for it.

Ace started to doze off. The battle had worn him out greatly, as had his trotting all the way back here. His nose touched the grass. Even though he was still lying down, Ace grazed for a few minutes. Then sleep overtook him...

Pausing from her grazing Huda lifted her crania in Ace's direction, the stag was dozing in the warm sun. The stallions body was covered with wounds from the earlier battle. Walking closer to the stag she began to graze again, hoping that Lessa wouldn't take the action personally. All Huda wanted was to be near her new leader whom melted her heart with his kind comforting words. Their was no noise in the area other then the flowing stream and the occasional mouse or rabbit running through the long lush greenery. The grulla mares flag gentle swished at the less then abundant flies, as she stood grazing. (( Couldn't thing of what to post ))

A gentle wind blew, sifting through her mane and tail and caressing her face. It made the trees shhh as their leaves fluttered and fell. Such a nice place, this was. She brought her head up again, glancing back at Huda, who'd gone to stand by her man protectively. It was good, she'd be a reliable lead mare for him. She trotted farther up the hill, seeking a higher vantage point from which to survey the land for danger. Again her elegant ears pricked and she became a statue of flesh and tension. Ahead, some ways, two baby foxes played in the grass outside their den. She could see them, little orange dots frolicing in the high grass of the downs. To the side, a flock of blackbirds rested in the trees dotted about the hills that lead to the forest beyond. Just far enough ahead, so far that it was only a tiny break in the smoothness of the horizon, stood the mountain. Proud and black.
Longly she sighed, letting out a tiny whinney. One day, one day... Not now though
The area surrounding was a haven of peace. She could understand why so many horses liked to come here. Turning back, she put the mountain out of her mind and trotted back to Huda. Seeing as Ace was asleep and she couldn't really get at his wounds, she began to groom Huda's shoulder quietly and affectionately. Ahead, an eagle soared.

((I'm going to wait for Ace after this.[Unless something happens xD]))
Huda looked up as she heard the near silent whinny of Lessa, quickly glancing sideways to see if the call had woken Ace. she began grazing again n the knee height vegitation. The gentle breeze had come to a stand still as Lessa begain grooming Huda's shoulder. Returning the favor Huda worked on the older mares back. The soft light of the sun about to bring about the days grand finale was all that illuminated the valley.

Ebony came trotting into the herd. She took a long well deserved drink from the river before introducing herself to the mares.
I am Ebony, I was a member of this herd before the one who calls himself Fajer stole me, and another member, Ella. I am here to rejoin the herd I wish to belong to. She nickered.

Lessa pricked her ears towards the approaching sounds, tensing, nudging Huda in readiness to bolt.
"Ace! Wake up!" she snapped and the sounds grew closer, stomping her hooves next to his head. She had to see what it was before running. With a hushed "stay here" to Huda, she left her side, trotting alongside the bank towards the noise. From the brush emerged, to her relief, another mare. She did not stop as she crested her neck and let out a whinney in greeting, walking up to her and bumbing her nose against the mares as she spoke.
"Ah, I remember seeing you there!" She replied merrily. "You've run an awful long way, don't you think? I sure hope you weren't followed" She arched her neck, looking around. No other sounds of approach.
"Come and join us!" She said trotting back to Huda.

Ebony could tell Huda did not want her there, but she loved Ace, and this mare was not going to stop her rejoining her crush's herd.
Fajer has a foal to raise, he has a loving mare by his side, what does he want from me? Nothing, pride, ignorance, they're the only qualities he posesses. Ace asked me to join, so of course, I am going to fullfill his wishes. She nickered.
Where did you come from, Huda? She asked.

((opps . . . I accidently deleted my post . . I ment to edit it xD luckily I copied it so for future refrence:
As Ebony approached ice cold fear overcame Huda, were Ebony and Ella mad? Surly they knew how their actions could ruin Ace's herd and even ultimately end his life. If Fajer came to collect his runaways there was no telling of what would happen. Delicate lobes flicked back she nodded I saw you being taken by Fajer at the fight. Turning away from the new mare Huda nuzzled Ace gentle and murmured for him to wake up. Compassionate orbs focused on Ace's ailing body before looking back at Ebony. I'm Huda. she nickered gently as the night air closed in on them with a cold chill.))
IC:
Huda's voice ran ice cold I came here after I watched the fight. From the unclaimed valley. Stepping aside to give Ace room to stand she glared at Ebony, if there was going to be a fight with Fajer, Ace could dietrying to protect the runaway.

Watching carefully to see that there was no animosity between the two mares, this herd had seen enough fighting for a day, Lessa strode a few feet a away and settled to graze, keeping an ear turned in their direction, but otherwise appearing utterly calm.

Ebony snorted, You are aware that should Fajer come back he will take all of Ace's mares, that includes you, he risked Emera, his pride and joy, so even if Ella and I had stayed, he would have risked us to get more.
She swished her tail, she longed to be Ace's mare, yet, Huda was making it very difficult. I do not wish to fight, I wish for friendship, please, I am begging you, do not make this harder than it is, you are unaware of what being in Fajer's wake is like.
If horses could cry, Ebony would be doing so, so inside her head, she was flooding the place.
