He stood in the shadows, waiting.
All alone in a world so different from his own, too light, too sunny. He hated daytime. Night was where he was most comfertable, most happy, although happy really isn't the word for it. He had no terratory, yet. He needed a collect a few mares first. He wondered who would be lucky enough to be his lead mare. He was evil but loving, so he is ever so perfect for a mare.

The freckled mare stood quietly in the shadows, watching the stallion carefully. She had no herd, therefore was vulnerable. She pricked her delicate ears forward, catching any sound he might make. She stood within a stand of small dogtrees, her white coat standing out slightly in the darkness, like a ghost stands out among the living. She prayed that he wouldn't look in her direction.

He had sensed someone else coming, hoping it was a mare. He stepped from the shadows and his voice bellowed through the caverns. Show thyself, O horse! He let his excitement run up high, but not too high so to frighten the horse aproaching. I be dubbed as Sir Knight, a pure Darque of the Sir lineage, who my be you?

The mare snorted, startled. She stepped out, flicking her tail and turning her head as to view him better. I am Kryptonite, a passing loner she replied, stopping a few feet infront of Sir Knight, her liquid brown eyes glinting with an undescribable light. She flared her nostrils, testing the air and scenting him. The stallion had no scent of a herd, or any other mares. And I didn't know that horses with no herd had any reason to be so formal, unless they are dealing with a high ranking herd horse, she snorted cheekily, flicking her silky tail.

I had need not be. I am a Darque, as you can tell, a Light would'n be out this late at night, they'd be at risk... There was a glint in his eye. His cold, icy, hypnotic voice flew forth. I have yet to make a herd, and to make a herd I need a Lead Mare. I must find one suitable for this position, and one that O His Holiness-- He looked up at the sky. --favors me to have. He pawed at the ground with a charred hoof. He swayed his mane to the other side of his body, showing off just a bit.

You are religious? she asked, flicking an ear, amused. And I am one of those who is not sided, but I lean toward the darkness. I stand out at night, but the best things happen at this hour, she said, motioning with her gray muzzle around them, into the forest. Her white coat made it almost impossible to conceal herself, but she could make that work to her advantage at times.

He looked her over. A white-ish spotteh, very smexy mare, of Neutral/Darque sidelines. He could deal with that. If he trained her correctly...and if she decided to help him in his evil but clever plans...He had evil things in his head. Religious? Naw. I just sacrifice to His Holiness, our God of Death, who lives in the sky with all the other Sirs and Darques up there. Each little burning flame up there is a soul of osmebody, and both of us will be up there someday. He hoped he hadn't sounded strange, for not many horses had ever heard of His Holiness. She would learn to praise him, though. He started toward her, just a few steps. So, you said you were a loner. Ever feel the wanting for male accompianment, or a herd whatsoever?

Hmmm, interesting. It seems we worship different gods. If I don't sound too strange, I worship two of the wolf gods, Tor and Fenris. Without the wolf bit, anyway, she replied, nodding slowly. Interesting stallion, he was. Bay, with a clearly defined head, muscular but not buff. She could hang around him. Hmm, spend the rest of my earthly life in the prescense of a horse like you, be doomed to live alone and fight off the predators...I think I'll take the herd, she said, sidling up to him. Yeah, I could do with a herd, she confirmed.

He nodded. What kind of herd would fit your like? He wondered if he could ever live in the same herd as her. Why had he thought of things that weren't already destined to happen? Why hadn't His Holiness sent him a mare earlier? Had he done something wrong? I cannot be near sunlight, it burns through my flesh like Man's boomersticks. I must live in a secretive, dark place, as have my ancestors. He turned, almost embarrassed. He looked to her again, wondering why he had felt that awkward emotion.

What do you mean? she asked, looking up at him. The sunlight, actually, on occasion, makes me more powerful, she said, in response. If we were to rule a herd together, you would be the night ruler, and I the day leader, she said, half thinking alloud and half speaking to him.

She had a mind as gooly great as his. He had never thought a mare...a mere loner...could have... Then...it would... His voice shivered with antisipation. It would be my honor to ask you to by the lead mare of my coming herd, the dam of my Darque Sir children, and the love, the only love that will ever come into my life. Other then you and His Holiness, there will be evil and hatred.

Kryptonite stopped for a moment, then lifted her tail. And it would be my honor to accept, she said, shivering. With us side by side, leading a herd as dark and cold as the night, we will become the most powerful herd to curse this land, she said lowly, her brown eyes flashing within the darkness.

He nodded his thanks, then looked away. He hoped she knew it was totally against his nature to show any affection at all, and it was all new to him. He would learn that, as she would learn His Holiness. He would learn these, wolfs, she said? Wolfs? His Holiness would allow it, for it woudl be for his mate's sake.
((I asked Sakr for a terra, we'll get one soon))

Krypto nodded to herself, turning her head the other way. He was a dark, and she knew that most darks never made any relations, let alone had a mate. As a former neutral, she was used to atleast making friends. Along with that, they had some learning to do about eachother's gods. Her wolf gods, Tor and Fenris, and his god, His Holiness. She could teach him, and she would remain open minded.
OOC: a'right, I'm on illegally anyway xD and shall await eagerly for the terra
