Emera saw the look that was on Ella's face and glared right back at her. She shook her head in annoyance at the silly fae and lowered her head to her filly.

Amirah was getting the hang of walking a little. She took every little tiny step so slowly towards her beloved mother. The little filly gradually advanced to her mom and gave her a little nudge on her side. With pure excitement Amirah kicked out her front legs and snorted as loud as her voice could. She hit the turf underneath her with a thump! She almost tumbled over if she hadn’t fell sideways on her mother’s side. The filly looked at her mom in confusion.
As she stood up strait again she felt her stomach growl. She was very hungry. She slowly turned around stretching her neck to nurse. As she gulped her mothers milk down her tiny muzzle got covered with rich white milk, it dripped down her face and then fell with a drizzle onto the green grass beneath her.

Gabby laughed quietly, shaking her mane around with joy. It was so fun to watch a new foal! She wondered where Amirah's father was. "Who is her father, if you don't mind me asking?" Gabby asked Emera.

Emera's eyes glanced at Gabby bit sure she should answer the question she said, " His name is Fajer. He has some buisness at the moment. " She turned away not wanting this converstaion to bring everyones minds back to the battle and the issues at hand.

"Oh, ok," Gabby said. She shifted around nervously. Now, she hadn't been around horses for a long time since she'd run away from her old herd, and was so used to being alone since then. Gabby really didn't know what she herself felt, it was a mixture of feelings. She bent her neck down to the river to take a drink.

Ebony looked back at Emera, not understanding why she had brought herself, and more importantly, her foal to territory not belonging to her herd. She snorted and turned her back to the loaners before making her way back to the beach to find Ace.

She sighed, there was nothing left to groom, and darkness was falling over them. She left Emera's side, again taking up the position as sentinel. In on the breeze came smells, far off and friendly to horse kind. Dandilions coming into bloom, moldering mossbeds along the trees. It was cool and gentle. Caressing her and sifting through her hair like graceful fingers. She straightened out, her neck straining as if against a great current, her nostrils flared as if she was in full run. For a moment she seemed to absorb the fading light, become part of the wind and take it into herself. Erect and still like a statue, she remained that way on the small and dainty crest of earth that she stood opon, enjoying the anticipation of night. Ah, Night. Memories of her run with a stallion of a similar demeanor came flooding back, from a place long ago. How she loved being free.
But the moment ended and she seemed to come alive again. Becoming once more a horse of earth and she, satisfied that there was no danger, settled back to grazing.

Emera watched Lessa intently as she seemed to be thinking. She then turned back to Amirah as she suckled nickering her approval. She lowered her head to the sweet taste of clover and savored every bite. Twilight was upon them and the sounds of the night slowly began to emerge as her midnight pelt began to dissapear with the growing shadows.

Watching the filly with intent orbs Huda almost felt at peace with the world as they stood in the seren valley. The creatures and sounds of the night had taken over the terra, the moon emiting a soft glow onto their slick pelts. Glad that Ebony had at last left she wondered why Ace had yet to come and see who was tresspassing on his territory. Walking over to graze next to Lessa and Emera her flints made no sound on the soft sod. Crania lowered to the ground she begain to rip at the sweet grass untill herhungery was but only a memory.

((Okay guys, its time to get this back up and running))
Lessa trotted along the downs and came to rest next to Huda, flicking her ear at her in greeting. Silently the two mares grazed, like rabbits gently moving along the grass. It was still very quiet here, darkness had settled well into the area and offered them a great deal more cover...
They would probably be safe for the night, it was not a good idea for a horse who reaked of blood to travel through a forest in the dark, when all sorts of predators were out. Still, she shook her mane, it would probably be best to get a move on in the morning, early while the grass was still wet. On the wind she'd smelled the faint salt of the sea, some few miles off. Perhaps walking along there and sneaking back through the Damis lands to the fire lare, over the mountain and into the Sabiha territory would not be a bad idea. Sakr, while a good stallion, would not be in much a position to do anything about it, especially if they picked up stragglers along the way, increasing their chances of being able to defend themselves. While their chances were not that bad now, they were less than she would have liked.
Huda and Ella, she'd need to speak to them in the morning, she hoped to god they knew how to fight...
But without saying anything, Lessa moved, nickering at Huda to follow and meandering back towards Emera. They should sleep close together, away from the edge of the forest, standing around the smallest and newest member of the herd...
But she was not a member of the herd... She shook her head minutely as she thought.
I am not a member of this herd, I can't let myself think that
Still not outwardly showing any signs of distress, she bumped noses with Emera, locking her legs and yawning, before nickering for Ella to come join them. In the morning she'd need to talk with Emera as well, she wondered if the mare would have problems with adding new members while Fajer was... away... would that make the stallion feel weird? She chuckled to herself at Fajers imagined reaction when the smug Emera finally showed him the herd he thought he had put together.
Then again, he might just think its kinky.
Again, she had to stop calling herself a member of the Damis herd.
She was not.

Emera was dozing softly when she heard the sound of Lessa's flints trotting toward them. She was tired from the fear she had felt, tired from the travels, and tired from Amirah's birth. She had grown to love her little filly as she loved Fajer. She was such an amazing little thing as she nursed Emera heard the aproaching of Lessa and then the soft touch of her nares against her on. She had not liked Lessa when they had first encountered each other in Death Plains but it was funny how the fates have forced her to work with the painted mare.
The truth was she was slightly jealouse of her and for the fact that she seemed interested in Fajer when they first met. She also brought memories of her past back which she had no wish to remember. The past haunted her even now as she remembered Fajer and Flame both seeking the other blood. She nearly shivered but stopped herself. She knew he would not stop. He would never stop until he had her but she had hope that Fajer would succeed although it was only slight she had hope.
She watched as Lessa yawned and noticed she had a good idea. Everyone should surround the new rising princess. " Fajer would love her so much " she thought. She closed her eyes as Lessa called to Ella to join them and felt Huda close by she had grown to live her as well. She was the closest to a best friend she had ever had and she felt close to her. She listened for danger and glanced around one last time but there was none. She locked her legs and nickered to Amirah to rest. The wind picked up slightly carrying the sweet smell os sea. She closed her eyes and fell into a deep dreamless sleep.

Following the painted mare she took her spot by Emera and Amirah's sides. The precious black filly would have made Fajer so proud, shaking the thought of Fajer away shelooked at Emearas shadowed figure. She gently bumped her nares on emeras side to let her know excactly were she was then witha quiet sigh she locked her legs in preporation for sleep. Closing her eyes the sounds of the night rung clear in her lobes. Soon sleep over came her as she stood by her friends, herd, and Lessa.

Azale slowed to a trot as she came near the never ending river. She had been here a few days earlyer with Ace and Ebony, If she saw them again she would kill ebony if she said one cross word to her. It seemed like she had been running for hours. She was so exausted. But when azale saw the river she galloped into it not noticing the other mares or the little black filly. Water splashed all around her, It felt so amazing she was parched and needed a drink. Azale put her muzzle into the cool aqua and sucked it up. It slithered down her long throught refreshing her every muscle. She felt like a brand new horse. It was a beutiful morning, the sun was rising on the horizon sheding its light on this beutiful land. Azale reluctantly got out of the water and went to lay down in the soft lush grass. Her legs buckled underneath her as she lay down it was then that she noticed how tired she was. Before she shut her large brown orbs she noticed the other horses, ushally she would go intriduce her self but after the past few days she was a little reluctant. Plus they where sleeping, she would just wait untill they noticed her. After what seemed like seconds she closed her eyes and fell to sleep.

Blinking her lids slowly untill the familier landscape came into focus she noticed an unfamilier scent hung in the, it was that of another mares. The sleepyness she had felt fled from her orbs as she looked arround for the mare that had come while they slept. The early morning sun's warming rays illuminated the chestnut mare that lay asleep in the high grass. Taking alook at Emera, Lessa, Ella, and Amirah to see they were still asleep she shock out her mane. Nickering quietly to the not far off mare to see if she would awake Huda wonderd if she should leave her post at Emeras side to see if the mare was a threat. She took a reluctante step forward having decided not to wake up the Damis lead, instead she approuched Lessa and nudged her awake.

Azale woke with a shock when she heard another mare nickering. She stood up quietly from the tall lush grass not wanting to wake the other mares. She looked in the new mares dirction not shure if she should go over. Then azale nickered quietly to the unknown mare, staying where she stood. The mare never left her orbs. If she had to fight she would she was starting to like fighting latly.
