Lessa looked at Emera's show of authority with same patiance that a mother would have over her rebellous daughter. It made her smile as Emera kindly welcomed the new mare into her herd. While still not ready to give up her freedom, her attachment to Emera and the herd made it hard to say that she couldn't imagine living here... if only for them, she couldn't imagine getting along well with Fajer.
But no matter, turning quietly to leave the mares to chat, she walked back to stand by the sleeping Amirah. With the old, amiable contanace of a grandmother she admired the young filly, standing over her and grazing by her head. She listened to the little things soft, slow breathing as her breath wisped by her ear.
Never, she thought to herself, would she let any harm come to this one. So in a way, it was Amirah who had inducted her into herdom, that soft little black pearl. As long as this one was young and vunerable, it was her obligation to stay and defend her, as she felt that all the mares now felt. Best not to dwell on it now, she pushed the unencumbered ferocity of Flame out of her mind, grazing delicately along the soft downs.

Stepping aside slightly for Emera she couldn't help but to feel a pang of regret for not waking the lead when she noticed the new arrival but she knew she could easily justify her actions to Emera if need be. With a nicker of 'welcome to the herd' she passed her pools over the chestnut mare. Something appeared to be bothering her but she didn't think it was at all the time or place to interrogate the mare.
Lobes and orbs alert she studied the horizon as though she expected Flame to come running after them having followed their trail. It was the grave reality they all faced any day now their lives would be turned upside down with the appearance of the blood stained stag. Pushing the thought out of her mind she grasped onto the one thread of hope they had left, that being that Fajer had persevered thus conquering the devil of a stallion. Nonetheless she was eager to move on from the valley.

Emera smiled as Azale let out a squeel of delight and watched with erect ears as Lessa walked to graze beside her beloved Amirah. She smiled at the sight of Amirah sleeping and realized how glorious the morning truly was as the birds chirped their morning songs and the bees began to land on the flowers. She then noticed Huda gazing to the horizon and the thoughts of Flame came tumbling into her mind. She shook her mane and knew it was far past time for them to leave.
She gazed around at the other sleeping mares and let out a loud nicker meant to wake them she gave Lessa a knowing look that said, " Its time to go. " She nuzzled Huda's neck and trotted toward Amirah briskly with purpose in her stride. Her black frame was no longer swollen and she was beggining to return to her slender figure again. She She lowered her head tenderly and breathed softly on her as if to wake her gently she then let out a loving nicker that only a mother could understand to wake her.

Huda gave Azale a last welcoming nicker before turning to join Lessa, Emera, Amirah, and Ella. She knew that leaving was on all their minds and that it wasn't just herself who kept shooting glances towards the tree line. The flies were already out and up to their usual pestering ways. Swating her flag at the obnoxius flies she choose to stand near Lessa. ((Where is everyone? ))

||ooc|| I'm gonna rp Amirah until somone decides to play her...
Orbs opened sleepily at the touch of her mother. She looked around confused and let out a tiny yawn. She wondered why everyone seemed to be staring at her... What was going on? She stood up shakily at first but took a few steps and recovered her balence almost instantaneously. Emera smilled nickering a good morning to her little one. How proud Fajer would be of her. She raised her dial and looked to Huda then to Lessa. She turned to Amirah and said, " Eat. " and watched as she made her way to her and began nursing. She sighed almost contently. Yet as the filly finished her meal she said, " Let us be off. " and with that she picked up a trot nickering to Amirah to follow which she did. She nickered to the others and headed toward the nuetral lands. She had a feeling Flame would be in hot persuite of her her but she wouldn't let him have Amirah... She would die before Amirah the raven hued angel was stolen from her.
